Social Media & Community Manager
An up-and-coming Singapore-based start-up in the media and entertainment space is looking for an enthusiastic Social Media & Community Manager!
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assume responsibility for the community management of the official social media channel: Working with external partners, facilitate community management, sourcing of content, publishing, engagement, reporting, and overall daily management
- Develop and execute creative content, engagement, and measurement efforts for official social media platforms
- Propose creative projects while adopting new tools and products to generate buzz and business demand
- Proactively identify opportunities to communicate stories of interest on social media channels to various social circles of influence.
- Maintain engagement with followers by creating and participating in online conversations to increase online visibility.
- Manage inbound requests for social support, ensuring the social media calendar is updated.
- Hands-on knowledge of digital media tools such as digital photography/ videography and tools used for social content.
- Provide social media guidelines, engage and conduct training to external partners.
- Provide social media direction for key Corporate/Brand events, while maintaining relationships with key social media partners.
- Ability to keep up with the pulse of industry trends, keeping a keen eye on the evolving social landscape, on what competitors are doing, and on which innovations are around the corner.
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 5 years of experience directly managing major social media channels in an agency and/or corporate organisation.
- 3+ years' experience in content marketing.
- Ability to define success metrics for both awareness and tactical initiatives on social channels, and a track record of success and previous experience working in large scale / a complex organization with Brand, Sales, Marketing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills; native English and proficiency in another Asian language preferred.
- A will to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
