An ambitious London/Oxford based SME organisation within the private sector are looking for a results driven head of marketing to lead their marketing, brand and overall go to market strategy to help elevate the business to the next level. They operate within a niche service industry in the B2C environment. widely regarded as one of the best within their sector, they are looking for a head of marketing to drive growth through customer acquisition, engagement and in turn ROI.

As head of marketing you will report directly into the CEO, you will be solely responsible for the marketing strategy and have an multi-channel approach across the UK and internationally. They are an award winning organisation within their field and would like a marketing department that demonstrates this. They have some highly impressive partnerships and their product is first class. Currently this role manages a team of 4 and utilises external agencies. As part of this role you will audit the current team and marketing capabilities, ensuring that they are fit for purpose and making improvements where necessary.

You will be a natural marketing story-teller with the ability to revitalise the brand and re-align the website so that it resonates with existing and prospective customers. As mentioned, you will be responsible for increasing the customer base and business growth. This will be achieved through brand positioning and performance marketing. The CEO is passionate about digital and will invest in creative yet measurable ideas, so extensive experience within performance marketing and analytics to measure ROI is essential.

You will be skilled in the full marketing mix including:

  • B2C acquisition and growth
  • Performance marketing across campaigns
  • PPC / SEO / Social / Paid marketing campaigns, website conversion and marketing automation.
  • Building an innovative and high end brand
  • Growing and developing a marketing team
  • Having an analytic and data led approach

This role is strategic within a growing SME, so a hands on operational approach is also required.
